MOBILE MÓVIL DI ĐỘNG is a mural that reflects on peoples movement through space on both short and long distances. Foot prints playfully fade in and out of silhouettes of lilies, and chevrons that have been woven into a NO PARKING sign and striping that had recently been installed to deter folks from parking and obstructing LibroMobile’s site lines of visibility to the public.

The floor mural weaves through 2D space flowers, foot prints, and chevrons disappearing into the paint implying that neither short nor long distances can impede people from travel. No matter what boundaries or impasses are preventing mobility there is a resiliency in transgressing the limitations of a built envionment.

This mural honors migrant lives-those that passed on, those that have found home, and those that continue to be on the move.
