Cynthia Luján is a visual artist who creates murals, paintings, and photographs. A CSULB alumni with an arts practice based in Santa Ana working regionally in Southern California collaborating on mural projects in public spaces or taking painting commissions on a limited basis.

Luján’s immediate goals are to secure grants and fellowships to further research on urbanites in shared public spaces. Lujan’s current focus is on regional mural projects and participatory workshops with the goal of joining more artist residencies in the near future to continue to collaborate with other artists and community members when working in shared public spaces.

Luján serves on the Advisory Council committee for Santa Ana Active Streets and is an active member of TWIG+ a queer cycling group based out of the Bicycle Tree in Santa Ana, CA.
