A solo exhibition featuring paintings by interdisciplinary artist, Cynthia Luján on view at Metro 417 from April 12–May 8.
In Shifting Space, Luján creates a series of images that explore the life of the L.A. urbanite and their movement through public space. Luján is a nomadic artist who lives in Whittier, works in Long Beach, and exhibits at various venues in greater Los Angeles. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and minor in Russian Studies from California State University, Long Beach. She’s exhibited at Torrance Art Museum, Los Angeles Municipal
Art Gallery, The Brand Library, and LA><ART, among others.
This exhibition is in conjunction with the Downtown LA Art Walk and Art Share LA.
